Dr. Husty is currently the President and Chief Medical Officer at Medical Audit Resource Services, Inc. MARSI in Central, Florida. He is a noted speaker on the topic of ‘Clinical Documentation Improvement’ and founded MARSI to address the legal and clinical ramifications related to physicians and their documentation practices.

Dr. Todd M. Husty. Dr. Husty is the lead physician overseeing medical record review, physician education, and daily operations of MARSI. Dr. Husty has been performing clinical record reviews since 1982 and has been providing physician documentation improvement training since 1987. Considered an expert in documentation for Emergency Medicine, Inpatient vs. Observation, and Risk Adjustment Dr. Husty has served on and has been the Medical Director of multiple hospital committees including Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Medical Executive, Utilization Review, and Health Information, and has also served as Chairman of Departments of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Husty has served as the Medical Director/Physician Advisor of Utilization Review for many hospitals in Florida, California, Wyoming, New Mexico and West Virginia.
